Used as Book block reinforcing as well as a headband carrier for automatic casing in machines. • Brown Kraft Backlining - Natural Kraft reinforcing material, stocked in 78#/126gms. Also used as a spine stiffener. • White Backlining/Capping Material - .006 Latex saturated paper, 67#/109gms. Used as book block reinforcing as well as backlining. • Eco 68# Supercoat - Reinforced paper with high internal bond and fold characteristics. 68#/111 gms. Used as spine reinforcing fabric with good stretch in machine direction and very little in cross direction. • Text B SUPER CLOTH® - 41 x 17 construction fabirc meeting NASTA specifications. 29#/49gms. Used to line book block spine. Required for NASTA specification books. • SUPER CLOTH® 1251 B - 24 x 20 construction fabric. 27#/44gms. COMBINING MATERIALS • WDS 60 Stretch Paper - White Creped Kraft construction paper. 60#/98gms. Used as a barrier between adhesives, or tape for combined endsheets. • USDW Crepe 51.5# - White Creped Kraft. 51.5#/84gms. Used as a barrier between adhesives , combining paper for endsheets, or lining on spine for layflat binding. • #64 Cambric - 64x56 construction. Starch filled woven reinforcing fabric. 70#/114gms. Used for combining endsheets. SPINE STIFFENERS • White Backlining - .006 Latex saturated paper. Used as backlining for hard cover books. 67#/109gms. • .010 Caselining - Grey Kraft spine stiffener. 108#/176gms. Used to add body and improve stamping image on spine. Also available in .015 thickness for NASTA specification books and stiffer spine requirements. • Brown Kraft Backlining - Natural Kraft paper, stocked in 78#/126gms. Also used as a reinforcing fabric. HUBBING BOARD • Hubflex - .030 Hubbing Board, 446#/726gms. Used to show raised hubs on spine without applying a rope or leather strip between cover and board.
