Rainbow® Mirage™ is latex saturated substrate that has an environmentally-friendly polyurethane acrylic coating. The toning / branding / burnishing effect is achieved through the decorative heat & pressure stamping using a Teflon-coated die. Mirage™ is offered in 9 stock colors. The sample book presents each of these colors in 8 grains demonstrating this burnishing effect. APPLICATIONS Book cover, bibles, CD/DVD/multimedia packaging, slipcases, photo albums, looseleaf, lever arch files, journals, deluxe jewelry boxes, etc. COMPOSITION • Latex impregnated base - environmentally-friendly acrylic P/U surface coating. DECORATION • Excellent surface for blind stamping with heat (branding) - silkcreen printing - foil stamping. • Acrylics require lower heat when foil stamping than solvent coatings • Consult your ink supplier for acrylic compatible inks. • Glueable on base side through conventional methods - PVA & synthetic glues.
