Ecological Fibers – Booth 2E50

Ecological Fibers sets the standard for environmental responsibility in the covering materials industry. Since inception in 1972, we have been committed to sustainable innovation and practices. Ecological is more than just a name, it’s our way of life.

Rainbow® Tree Free and FlexPak™ Tree Free are setting new standards towards a sustainable future. Made from a blend of bamboo and sugarcane fibers, no trees were harvested to create these products. Our Tree Free products provide clean, artisan looks that accept blind and foil stamping, and silkscreening capabilities.

Rainbow® 80 is one of our most popular mainstays. Adding to the collection is Rainbow® Hemp, made from 100% Post Consumer Waste (PCW). This unique product looks exceptional when printed or stamped.

As an offshoot of our Rainbow® 80 line, 2 colors are now made with 100% recycled material. Alabaster and Tuxedo offer the flexibility and versatility of the classic line, with peace of mind that no new materials were harvested in production.

Made from 100% Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (rPET), each meter of Phoenix™ contains the equivalent of 10 plastic water bottles! Phoenix™ tackles the plastic problem by eliminating the production of new plastics, repurposing those that have already been created to keep them out of the ecosystem.

Phoenix™ is available in a variety of bold colors that can be blind and foil stamped, as well as offset and screen printed.

This revolutionary product features a 100% organic, plastic-free coating, making it the most environmentally sound coated covering material ever made. Designed for high performance, it provides additional fingerprint, moisture, and fade resistance to your projects. Design capabilities include embossing, blind stamping, foil stamping, and silkscreening.

Ecological Fibers’ solution to the monumental problem of the industries dependency on additional film lamination in book jackets is EcoPrint™ 7. Its unbelievable printing capabilities matched with its superior durability means that this ecologically sound covering material can be used to remove thousands of tons of plastic being laminated to books each year. In fact, since inception, EcoPrint™ 7 has eliminated over 37 million sq ft of plastic from being used – enough to completely cover Central Park!
