Drill provides the unique binding and design properties necessary for the endsheets of side-sewn children’s books. At a 65 %/ 35% poly-cotton weave and 70 x 44 construction, Drill offers manufacturers the ideal side-sewn binding solution. The white, double backfill, cloth-reinforced fabric provides the strength and ease desired among binderies designing children’s books across industries. This cloth substrate is specially engineered with a tight weave to resist tearing, while being porous enough to support various adhesive methods such as emulsion, hot-melt, starch and animal glues. Its thin, clean, white appearance makes it acceptable for exposed reinforcement, but is more commonly used for blind reinforcement to show off your beautifully colored Rainbow® endsheets.
