Designer Tips
Digital Mockups

By downloading the available patterns, you can now add texture to your digital mockups. Each transparent PNG file is created to scale to ensure that you can generate a file that will accurately represent the final product.
Use these 9x6in files as a Multiply Layer in your design software, and it will give a realistic appearance of texture to your file. For extra realism, add a bevel filter to these layers.
Don’t forget the color! – Visit our Designer’s Corner to download our stocked colors directly into your Adobe® design software or use our library of HEX color codes to get realistic product colors on your screen.
Scale and Depth

Designer’s Tip: When selecting an embossing pattern, it is essential to consider the scale of your project. For smaller items like journals or jewelry packaging, opting for delicate and shallow surface patterns can enhance the aesthetic appeal without overwhelming the design. With larger projects, bold patterns can create a striking visual impact and provide a cohesive look to the final product. In other words, match the scale of the embossing to how close you plan to view it from. Something that goes in the hand – smaller embossings, something you view from far away – bolder embossings.
To eliminate uncertainty in your selection, utilize digital mockups and subsequently order custom samples to facilitate your final decision-making process.
